Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has posted a response to the news that highly-rated midfielder Gabri Veiga looks set to be on his way to Saudi side Al-Ahli.
After an exclusive from Fabrizio Romano last night, in which the Italian journalist claimed that the Saudi side had triggered the release clause in his Celta Vigo contract and the Spaniard has agreed to the move.
Matthias Jaissle, the new Al-Ahli manager, was reportedly crucial in persuading the 21-year-old midfielder about a move to the Middle East.
The Spanish midfielder had been linked with Serie A champions Napoli and a deal seemed done, Romano had given his famous tagline for the deal but it now seems the move to the Italian side is off.
Toni Kroos, a Real Madrid legend, has posted his thoughts on the deal and the German midfielder isn’t very happy about the move.

Kroos’ comment
On Romano’s Instagram post about the midfielder’s move to the Saudi side, Kroos commented on the post and said ’embarrassing’.
Kroos was greeted with widespread praise from the footballing community but we think the comments are incredibly harsh.
The signing of the Spanish midfielder, who was prolific from midfield for the Spanish side with 11 goals and four assists from midfield, the potential of the 21-year-old is clear.
Kroos’ comment seemingly applies to a wider belief that a move to the Middle East would ruin your career.
With the quality of players that are currently in the Pro League, Veiga would improve himself in the decision, so the comments from the former Bayern Munich midfielder are extremely harsh.
Were the midfielder to be offered a move to the Saudi side himself, it would be hard to see the German midfielder turning down the move to the Saudi side.
