Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, with Al Shabab and Al-Ahli considering reviving their interest.
The Moroccan winger looked set to move to Al-Nassr but the deal stalled, according to a tweet from Ben Jacobs.
The former Ajax winger has been linked with a move away from Chelsea for the best part of a year and it seemed likely he would finally get his move away from the club, but, as of yet, the winger remains in the Capital and there is no sign that the 30-year-old forward will leave Stamford Bridge.
As well as this, two other clubs are said to be interested in the winger. Al-Shabab, who tried and seemingly failed to sign Fulham forward Willian, are believed to be interested as well as Al-Ahli, although that seems unlikely as things stand.
Will the Moroccan make the move to the Saudi Pro League?
Ziyech saw his move to Paris Saint Germain collapse in the final moments of the January transfer window and, despite an appeal from both Chelsea and PSG, the forward remained at Chelsea according to Sky Sports.
The former Ajax winger, who joined the Blues back in 2020, may well be the next signing to make the move to the Middle East, although Al-Ahli seems unlikely.
The Saudi side have signed Roberto Firmino, Allan Saint-Maximin and Riyad Mahrez so a deal to sign Ziyech would be surprising although a deal shouldn’t be ruled out.
For Al-Shabab, who are not one of the wealthy big four teams in the division, a move for the Moroccan would be a huge coup for the Saudi side.
After trying and failing to sign Willian, Ziyech may well be the likely option and it could be said that the Moroccan winger may well be a better fit than Willian.
